What I wore Sunday: plaid + burgundy

I'm feeling a little off this Sunday; maybe because of the mountain of work that somehow piled up over the last four weeks of my pediatric rotation (it's been a fun weekend) or because I picked up some extra hours in the ER yesterday that my med school set up for me to try to help me decide between ER and OB-GYN as a specialty (starting to feel a little pressured).

Anyways, joining up with Fine Linen and Purple for another What I Wore Sunday and again with this lovely blog. I was feeling plaid today and sort of accidentally discovered that the blues, pinks, and greens in this shirt complemented these burgundy cords. And I'm really excited about these new-ish leather boots (first leather pair ev-ah) from ebay (thoroughly snow-proofed of course).

Happy superbowl Sunday, I'll be studying and maybe watching a few commercials in-between (I've never understood football and Stephen is working).

Plaid and open cardi: J. Crew Factory
Burgundy cords: J. Crew
Boots: Madewell

My lovely sister came over to take pictures since Stephen is working, and she totally posed this one. I felt a little silly when she took it, but was kind of impressed when I looked at it. Maybe she missed her calling as a photographer?

    1. Thanks, Lee!! I just love bright colors, but thought maybe I needed the cardi to tone things down just a tad (and to attempt to keep somewhat warm).

    1. Thank you! I really want to wear these boots every day; I'm way too excited that they are real leather (trying to resist wearing them very often until the snow melts though, haha).

    1. Thank you!! I appreciate it. I must say that I love OB-GYN with all my heart, but am intimidated by the ethical issues (and the rarity of NFP OB-GYNs) along with the call/hours...I've got to pray about it...
