Yesterday was a crazy/good day. I got to help bring two new babies into the world (my favorite) in between seeing patients in the clinic, rounding on our two hospital patients, and taking care of a newborn. I'm getting sold on this small town doctor thing...unfortunately Stephen is still a city boy to the core (working on him).
Lace top: J. Crew Factory (old), Loft version

I didn't know you'd done deliveries, that's amazing! I love that shirt--I tried on the hot pink one at Factory, but decided to come back when it was on sale. Alas, only a few were left, and none in my size...happily though, I saw a similar style just recently at Target and might have to get my hands on it!
ReplyDeleteGreat top and so versatile. Yeah to delivering babies. I love it!!!!! I love seeing them born, it truly is a miracle!!!

Hi Ericka! I'm so glad that you can find time during crazy medschool to have a little bit of fun with fashion :) I wish I did more of that back in the day. Hope you're having fun with your rotations! Are you in your 3rd or 4th year? Enjoy this time before residency comes around! That's when the real craziness starts haha. You look absolutely lovely. I love the lace top!! Yes, I agree, clarks are the MOST comfortable shoes ever!

Love both ways you styled it, but the casual way is just so easy and fresh. Looks great! I worked in L&D one summer and love love loved helping with new moms and babies so much I almost went to nursing school...until I passed out in the bathroom after assisting with a circumcision. The medical world is not for me. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI adore lace, I would like to get more of it. I have some fun lace vests! Sounds like my outfit for tomorrow. :) Did I ever tell you I used to be an RN.. different than a Dr. but hey.. medical fields my friend. Nearing 8 years later that ship has sailed for me. S
